Redurban recently launched a new campaign for nuts-brand Duyvis: Als je Borrelnootjes maar echt zijn. The campaign is centered around the Duyvis television commercial and users registered to the social network Hyves can invite their friends to participate in this commercial. They can participate by uploading their picture or use their profile picture to place on top of the original actors faces in the commercial. The generated commercial can immediately be seen on screen but will also be uploaded to YouTube and a small selection can be seen on TV. Superhero Cheesecake built a flexible Flash Video to YouTube renderer which automatically renders and uploads a YouTube compatible version of the video to YouTube. We also built a custom Flash-to-Broadcast Television Format renderer which renders to a very specific format used to show the user generated commercial on different television channels. We also did all of the masking and tracking in the commercial to support our custom built face engine.
