Shake It! is a new exciting television show for kids on Nickelodeon which revolves around one important question: How can you live healthy and have fun at the same time? Aired from a cozy kitchen studio, a creative chef and two presenters teach kids in a fun and accessible way everything you need to know about living healthy. It’s a show filled with crazy facts about food, tests to try at home, the latest news about events and activities in the Netherlands, special reports about the origin of certain products and a challenge for the chef to create something tasteful for three kids containing something that they normally wouldn’t like or eat. For Nickelodeon we created a website that extends the television show online. On the website you can participate in the show by signing up for certain show segments, watch complete previous aired episodes and play exciting quizzes. One of the most interesting features is the recipe finder. With the recipe finder kids can easily search for a recipe containing ingredients they like or dislike. For instance, if you dislike carrots then you can drag and drop carrots in the trashcan and the recipe finder will only show recipes that don’t contain carrots. Likewise for ingredients that you do want to contain in your recipe, but then you drag and drop them in the pan instead of the can!
